Yup, i used to have a web log that was powered by my own local scripts; as you can see, it served as a conduit for my thoughts for three years from 2004 until the end of 2007 and was only discontinued because, due to the ad hoc nature of the code that drove the thing, it required too much manual maintainance when adding posts when a new month started. The current blog that took over at the start of 2008 is viewable from the home page.
