VICOLUMN :: CASSETTE INLAY
Rendering: T.M.R
Tools: Imagine and Photoshop
Yup, even more rendering for Cronosoft, this time for the VIC20 game ViColumn that'll be finding it's way onto other "memory challenged" formats in the fairly near future (as well as a possible C64 version if a certain plan to make it use more memory comes to pass).
This one took a relatively short time to build since the objects are all primitives; there's four bevelled brick objects in different colours, a couple of textured planes to build the back wall and the reflective floor and the logo. But the final output had the anti-alias and resolve depth settings on Imagine set fairly high so it needed the overnight run on a P3 450 to do the job. This piece is unusual in that the logo was rendered as part of the actual scene, rather than being added later.
